We shall see about prayer that are invalid from Lord prayer. Powerful prayers are those who give glory to God alone. Jesus is the best teacher and here I am sure many will benefit on how to pray right before God.

God glorifying people’s prayer are powerful because it glorifies Him only

Those who want to or glorify themselves have a great chance to learn today. It is also to those who praise people for praying powerfully.

Getting to know about how prayers works is something everyone must learn in our daily life. Look at the passages and you will know some truths to have a strong prayer.

At the age of 16, Pastor Daniel from World Gospel Hope Church sent us to lead a Sunday School resided between Lingarajapuram and Don Bosco Catholic Church. We named the Sunday School place as Lokesh Tent Sunday School Ministry. I take the church guitar and we have had a person by name David who assisted me. It was under a tamarind tree and just next to a locally made wine shop. Many would get drunk and find a place just next to where we minister to the children or just simply lie on the road. We had faith but there was also a little bit of fear because there is no one to support us if problem occurred. However, we were daring enough to reach out to the children in the midst of these challenges. All the time we have had a successful ministry because when we are here someone in the church prayed for this ministry. Brother David prayed and in fact even I prayed to reach out to the children. We were set in fire on the Holy Spirit. In our thoughts who would come to create problem but in God’s heart he wanted to protect us. God gave His protection because of prayer. Prayers work, for those who do not believe in prayers this is a living testimony. God hears our prayers. He is a prayer answering God.

What has to be noticed here is, no one prayed to glorify themselves. All prayed to Father to fulfill the vision He has for the world and the world around us. Everything we did glorified God only and did not glorify anyone in the church. These prayers are valid prayers. When you pray make sure that you glorify the name of God only.

1. Jacob prayer that glorifies God – Genesis 32:9-12 and Gen 33:1-4

Jacob confesses that he is unworthy and unworthy to receive God’s mercy. Jacob learns a big lesson from the day he tricked Esau for the blessing. This guilt was carried until Esau reconciled with him. Everything in Jacob’s life is a miracle. Even Esau learnt the lesson to honour birth right God gave. In this passage Jacob prayed to God making himself unworthy which in other words glorified God. In Genesis 33:1-4 God answers his prayer.

2. Hannah’s glorifies God in prayer by confessing “I will give him back to you” – 1 Samuel 1:10-11

Hannah’s life is completely different, she was barren and in a life that was bitter than anything she experience. People also cursed women when they did not have a child. You know the story and this doesn’t need interpretation. Many do not even go to the Lord in prayer when they are in this kind worst situation. Even if they pray they will say God give me and will never says I will give back to you. The moment she said this, God gave her Samuel and she glorified God by giving him back to him.

3. David says, who am I – 2 Samuel 7:18-29, Verse 22

We do have many examples and testimonies of people’s prayer where they glorified God’s name. These 3 are more than enough as in the days to come we shall meditate on it more.

I believe you have understood that every prayer should glorify Father in heaven. Do not say prayers like a chant or just for name sake. Love to pray prayers that glorify God’s name. The more you pray by glorifying God’s name more prayers will be answer for to you to taste the love of God.

I pray that this word will touch your lives to change your prayer life. I pray that no one who heard this message will pray to glorify themselves but to glorify the creator of heaven and earth.
